Types of Warehousing -

Private Warehouses - The warehouses owned by the large business houses for the storage of their own stocks.

Public Warehouses - The warehouses are available on rent for those businessman who cant afford to construct their own warehouse.

Co - operative Warehouses - These warehouses are owned , controlled and managed by the cooperative undertakings

Government Warehouses - These warehouses are owned , controlled and managed by the state and central warehousing corporations

Bonded Warehouses - These warehouses are used to store the imported goods on which custom duty is not paid. These warehouses are owned either by the private individuals or by the port authorities.
