• It states that if two thermodynamical system (say C and B) are in thermal equilibrium with each other then they are in equilibrium with third one too (say A).
• ⇒ thermal equilibrium between systems is a transitive relation.

e.g if B and C is in Thermal Equilibrium with A then B and C both are in thermal equilibrium (T.E) with each other.
