neutral means that ionise in water but doesn't produce hydrogen ion or hydroxide ion

1. Neutral substances have no specific nature, whereas acids are corrosive, and bases are bitter taste with soapy when touched.
2. Acid are good conductors of electricity, same for bases in its aquous state. Acids react with bases, undergoes neutralization reaction i.e., acids form salt and water upon reaction with a base.
3. Neutral are with pH 7, whereas Acids have pH less than 7 and bases have pH more than 7. Hence acid and bases show affect in litmus paper, whereas neutral substances does not show any effect.
