CONTACT FORCES:

◾When there is physical contact between the two objects and the force applied is known as contact force. ◾Muscular force and Frictional force are contact forces.

◾Examples:pushing a pram, stretching a rubber band or kicking a football.

NON CONTACT FORCES:

◾When there is no physical contact between the two objects and the force applied is known as non contact force.

◾Gravitational force and magnetic force are known no contact forces.

◾Examples :when a pen is thrown up in the air, it comes down due to the Gravitational force of Earth.
