Three laws of mendel are :

  • Law of Dominance: One of the factor for a pair of inherited traits will be dominant and other will be recessive. The dominant trait will always express itself.
  • Law of segregation: During gamete formation [gametogenesis] the factors/traits separates so that only one factor from both the parents can to transmitted into progeny.
  • Law of independent assortment: Alleles of one gene sorts into gametes independently of the alleles of another gene.
