Triangle law  states that when two vectors are represented as sides of a triangle in magnitude and direction taken in same order then third side represents the direction of vectors.

Resultant (R) = \sqrt{P^{2} + Q^{2} +2PQcos     }Ф

    where Ф is the angle between the two vectors.
