The perimeter of any polygon is the complete distance to the outside that can be identified by adding the length of each side together

2. If we multiply the side by two, or double it, then either side of the square will also be doubled.

The previous one's diameter will be the sum of two side lengths of the bigger one. The perimeter of the new bigger square will be twice that of the previous smaller one.
