Statement ( 1 ) is TRUE .

This is because , transplantation if cornea can be done only .
Even the blindness can be cured only if there is damage in cornea because after cornea eyeball is connected with central nervous system and scientists even don't dare to do anything with brain part .


Statement ( 2 ) is FALSE

This is because :-

Anabolism – Growth of individual

Catabolism – Decline in growth .

So , if catabolism exceeds anabolism then it means growth has declined .
