EXPLANATION:

1. Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell. It is a process common to both aerobic and anaeorbic respiration.

2 and 5. Krebs cycle is a process in aerobic respiration. It takes place in mitochondria.

4. Pyruvic acid is the last product of glycolysis. The last product of krebs cycle is oxalo acetic acid which is used again in the reaction.

7. Aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen. The process that uses oxygen for the breakdown of carbohydrates and release of energy is called aerobic respiration. It releases large amount of energy as compared to anaerobic respiration.

8. Anaerobic respiration takes place in absence of oxygen. The process happening here will be glycolysis and fermentation. Both these processes take place in cytoplasm only.

11. Mitochondria is the site of cellular respiration. It has respiratory enzymes needed for the breakdown of complex carbohydrates to release energy.

12. Chloroplast is present in plant cell. It contains green pigment called chlorophyll which is responsible for the process of photosynthesis. The pigments in chloroplast is responsible for capturing of sunlight.

14. Mitochondria is called the power house of the cell. Ribosomes are responsible for the production of proteins.

15. Red blood cells or RBC are called erythrocytes. Thrombocytes are the blood platelets.

18. After fertilization fruit is formed from ovary and seed is formed from ovule. These are post fertilisation events in plants.
