Hi. First of all, What is an acid-base indicator?
An acid base indicator tells us whether an object is acidic or basic in nature.
Examples:
- Litmus Paper: Turns red if substance is acidic and blue if it's basic.
- Methyl Orange: Turns red if substance is acidic and yellow if it's basic.
Hope it helps.

Acid-Base Indicator Examples. Perhaps the best known pH indicator is litmus. Thymol Blue, Phenol Red and Methyl Orange are all common acid-base indicators. Red cabbage can also be used as an acid-base indicator.
