the two conditions when no work is done by force are :
1- when the angle between the displacement of the object and the force applied is 180 degree
2- when there is no displacement in the object although force is constantly being applied

The two conditions when no work is done by force are as follows:

  1. When the angle between the displacement and force applied is 90 degree i.e the force applied is perpendicular to the displacement.
  2. No work is said to be done if there is no change in position or no motion even after application of force.
