Sound whose frequency is greater than 20,000 Hz are called ultrasonic sound or ultrasound waves. Animals such as bats, dolphin,etc., can produce ultrasonic or ultrasound waves.
The sound waves whose frequency is less than 20Hz are called infrasonic sound waves. Animals such as elephants, rhinoceros, whales etc,. can produce sounds which are infrasonic.
Difference: Infrasonic sound waves are sound which are below the limit of human hearing.
Ultrasonic sound waves are sound which are above the limit of human being.
Range of audible range in humans ( 20hz to 20000 hz)
Also Infrasonic sound are from 10hz ,19hz
And ultrasonic sound are from 30000, 50000
