In sociology and social psychology, an ingroupis a social group to which a person psychologically identifies as being a member. By contrast, an outgroup is a social group with which an individual does not identify.

Ingroups are the one where people psychologically is identified as being a member of society whereas, in outgroups, a social group is made that does not identify as an individual.
Ingroup has conditions as per preference and affinity whereas, in outgroup, there is a threat to every member since they are known as a community.
