1) address of sessions of parliament : the president addresses both House of Parliament assembled together for the first session of the Year general election to the Lok Sabha..
2) message to Parliament : he has the power to send messages to other house of Pi are there in the record of any pending bill or to any other matter..
3) dissolve the Lok Sabha : he can dissolve the Lok Sabha and order fresh election ..
Rajya Sabha and body not subjected to dissolution.
4) assent to bills : the president may give his assent or with hold the bill or send it back concerned with recommendations..
5) formation of new state : a bill for the formation of new States or alteration of areas of the existing state cannot be introduced except on the president's recommendation..
