The pressure at a point in a liquid depends on the following factors:

• Height of the liquid column: The pressure due to a liquid at a point inside it increases with the the height of the liquid column above it.

• Density of the liquid: The pressure due to a liquid is directly proportional to its density. Greater the density of the liquid more is the pressure exerted by it.
