The weight of an object is nothing with the effect of the gravitational pull of the object towards the earth.

As gravity is dependent on the mass of an object, the higher the mass, the greater the pull and the lesser the mass lesser the pull.

Therefore the two factors on which the weight of an object is dependent is the mass and acceleration due to gravity.
