state of the matter influences the diffusion because when there is small intermolecular spaces the diffusion rate will be higher that is because diffusion in the gases are very high when are the solids are released

temperature also have a considerable influence in the diffusion rate when heat energy increases the intermolecular spaces increases and diffusion increases
