Properties of a Colloid are-

  • Collide is a heterogeneous mixture of a dispersed phase and a dispersion medium but due to small particle size, it appears as a homogeneous mixture to the naked eye.

  • The particle size varies from 1 to 100 nm (nano meters).

  • The particles of a colloid pass through filter paper, which means that they can not be separated by filtration.

  • Colloids are stable, that is, their particles don't settle down when left undisturbed for some time.

hope it helps you mate:)
