Hey Friend,
Copper, as we know, has many applications in day-to-day life... copper is widely used in making electric wires.
Some properties of copper which make it suitable foe making electric wires are -
1. Ductility - Copper is a highly ductile metal. It can be stretched and drawn into thin wires easily without breaking.
2. High melting point - Copper has high melting point which makes the wires long lasting.
3. Good conductor of electricity - Copper is an amazing conductor of electricity, which reduces heat loss by heating effect!
Hope it helps!
