Both Ettutogai and Pattuppattu were divided into two main groups_Aham (love) and Puram ( valour). During the post sangam period, Pathinekilkanakku or eighteen works dealing with ethics and morals was composed. The most important among them is Tirukkural written by Thiruvalluvar.
