● Similar triagles -
- Two triangles which are similar in shape but necessarily equal sides are called similar triangles.
- Two similar triangles mustnt be congruent, but two congruent triangles must be similar.
# Properties -
For two similar triangles ∆ABC and ∆PQR,
(1) Corresponding angles are equal.
∠A = ∠P, ∠B = ∠Q, ∠C = ∠R
(2) Corresponding sides are proportionate.
AB/PQ = BC/QR = AC/PR
