State two structural differences between artery and vein

Veins:

1-Veins are the vessels which bring blood back from different organs of the body towards heart .

2-The walls of the veins are less elastic as they do not have to bear systolic pressure

Arteries:

1-The vessels which carry blood away from the heart .

2-The walls of the arteries are elastic to expand and withstand the pressure of blood.
