State two ways of magnetising an iton piece?

They are:-

1.Electrical method of magnetisation.

When direct current flows through a solenoid, a magnetic field is created. If a core made from a magnetic material, like an iron piece, is placed inside a solenoid, the core will become magnetised. A relatively small current can create a strong magnet.

2.Induction method of magnetisation

 Magnetic induction is a process of inducing magnetism in an ordinary piece of magnetic material. This method involves simply placing the magnetic material ( iron piece) close to a strong magnet without touching.
