state universal law of gravitation. the gravitational force between two objects is 100 Newton. how should the distance between the objects be changed so that the force between them becomes 50 Newton.​

F1 = G M m / d1²

F2 = G M m / d2²

F1 / F2 = d2² / d1²

100 / 50 = (d2/d1)²

d2 = √2 d1

distance should be √2 times the previous.
