Answer:

Atmospheric N2 can be fixed by three methods into ammonia , nitride and nitrate which is known as soil nitrogen pool, these methods are biological nitrogen fixation , electrical nitrogen fixation.

Explanation:

After that it is uptake by plant biomass then to animal biomass. After the dying of plant and animal biomass it comes in decaying biomass and by the process ammonification  return back to soil nitrogen pool.

there are 5 steps in the nitrogen cycle

1)Nitrogen fixation

2)Assimilation

3)Ammonification

4)Nitrification

5)Denitrification

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

1)Nitrogen fixation

in this step nitrogen is fixed r by microorganisms to the soil and the fixation of nitrogen is done by symbiotic bacteria and some other microorganisms

2)Assimilation

in this  process the plants take up the nitrogen present in the soil for their own purpose and other organisms get nitrogen by consuming plants , ammino acids etc

3)Ammonification

When a plant or animal dies , the nitrogen will be in organic form and the microorganisms like bacteria or fungi convert the organic nitrogen into ammonia

4)Nitrification

In this step ammonium is converted into Nitrate by nitrifying bacteria and there are many reactions taking place dureing the conversion

5)Denitrification

In this process nitrate is converted into nitrogen gas which completes the nitrogen cycle
