Answer:

hiiii

your answer is here!

Explanation:

Tyndall effect is the phenomenon of scattering of a beam of light by the particles of a colloid.

Starch solution and tincture iodine are colloid and thus will show Tyndall effect.

Answer: Tyndall effect is the scattering of light through particles of a medium, it was discovered by Sir John Tyndall. In chemistry there are 3 types of mixtures they are-i true solution ,ii suspension ,iii colloidal solution.

i true solution- it doesn’t show Tyndall effect because it’s particle size is very small which is less than 1 nanometre so light particles don’t scatter because they get sufficient space to move through the medium.Examples of true solution are-sugar and water solution, salt and water solution, sodium chloride solution etc.

ii suspension-it shows Tyndall effect because it’s particle size is very big it is greater than 100 nanometers it scatters light because light particles don’t get enough space. Examples of suspension are-muddy water, air etc.

iii colloidal solution-in this particle size is between 1 nanometer and 100 nanometers so here also light does scatter because they don’t have enough space. Examples of colloidal solutions-milk,hair cream, whipped cream, smoke, fog etc.

To answer the second question only starch solution and air show Tyndall effect
