Where is it found?

Generally Black soil is found in Central, Western & Southern States of India.

According to Britannica , Black Soil is found in 28 Indian states including - Isolated part of ghat , The Malabar coastal plains , Ratnagiri of Maharashtra & Certain reasons of Andhra Pradesh , Tamil Nadu , Karnataka , Meghalaya & West Bengal.
