If any given number is an Even then its square is even if any given number is an odd number then its square will be an odd number.

  Given: Two numbers 524 and 655

To find: Squares of two given numbers are even or odd  

Solution:

Here 524 is an even number therefore square of this number is even= 2,74,576

655 is an odd number therefore square of 655 is an odd  number

Hence square of 524 is Even and a square of 655 is Odd
