a voltmeter measures the voltage difference between two different points (say, on different sides of a resistor), but it should not change the amount of current going through the element between those two points. So, it should have very high resistance so that it doesn't "draw" current through it

Answer:

voltmeter has a higher resistance

This is because a voltmeter in a circuit does not change the amount of current flowing in it so it should be necessary that the resistance to be very high so that it will not drow any current from the cercuit

I hope this will help you
