true;

1N=1kg ×1m/s2

1 Newton is always of 1 kg and if there was no speed on it how would it have weight so you can write that it is true because 1newton is of 1kg and the weight drops by 1m/s2

The given statement is true.

  • A newton (N) is the international unit of measure for force.
  • One newton is equal to a 1-kilogram meter per second squared.
  • The newton was named for Sir Isaac Newton, whose second law of motion describes the changes that a force can produce in the motion of a body.
  • A newton is defined as  1kg.m/s^{2}  (it is a derived unit that is defined in terms of the SI base units).
  • One newton is therefore the force needed to accelerate one kilogram of mass at the rate of one meter per second squared in the direction of the applied force.
