Answer:

a)True-A particle when viewed from a given frame of reference cannot be both at rest and in motion. However, in one frame of reference, a particle can be in motion where as in another frame of reference the particle is in motion.

b)False- A person flying in an aeroplane is at rest with respect to other passengers and moving with respect to the airport. We know that motion and rest are both relative terms and here also this implies for the co-passengers and with airport respectively.

c)True-The wheels of the train while in move always have both rotatory as well as translatory motion. First of all the wheels rotates around its axis giving a rotatory motion.

Hope it helps you!
