Answer:

(A.) False- External fertilization can occur only in water.

(B.) False- Eggs of fish are covered by jelly-like substance for protection.

(C.) False- Human sperm has a head, middle piece and tail.

(D.)True

The fertilization can be either external or internal fertilization. Humans show internal fertilizations while aquatic animals show external fertilization.

Explanation:

External fertilization occurs outside the body. The gametes release in the external environment. Aquatic animals show external fertilization and water helps in the transportation and fusion of gametes. It does not occur in case of land animals. Fusion of gametes occurs in the body of females in land animals. The jelly-like substance provides and protection to the cell and help them to float. Human sperms have head and tail. Tails help them to float while head help helps them to enter into egg. The middle piece contains mitochondria which provide energy to the sperms.

Hope it helps
