Since pressure has no direction and they are compared only in the terms of their magnitude, so it is considered as a Scalar quantity.

Since thrust is defined in the terms of both direction(as it is only applicable to the body perpendicular to its surface) and magnitude, so it is considered as a Vector quantity.

Since a force contains both magnitude and direction, it is considered as a vector quantity. Therefore, thrust is a vector quantity. Note:Pressure is defined as thrust per unit area on a surface.
