State which of the following pairs of term are like or unlike terms. Give reasons for your answer

Answer:

(i)The terms having the same variable with same exponents but different  coefficient  are called Like terms.

(ii)The terms having the same variable with different exponents or different variable with same exponents are called Unlike terms .

In A,B,C the variables are same then these are like terms.

In (D) −kmn,48kml variables are not same.

Thus, it is a pair of unlike algebraic terms.
