State which of the following pairs of triangles are congruent. If yes, write them in symbolic
form.( you may draw a rough figure).
a) ∆PQR : PQ = 3.5 cm, QR = 40 cm, 2Q = 60° ∆STU:ST = 3.5 cm. TU = cm. T = 50°
b) ∆ABC : AB = 4.8 cm, ZA = 90°, AC = 6.8 cm ∆XYZ : YZ = 6.8 cm, 2x=90.DX=43cm

Answer:

Euler's formula for solids ⇒ Faces+ Vertices− Edges =2

The given solid in the image is a Cuboid

∴ Faces of the cuboid =6

Vertices=8

Edges =12

putting these values in Euler's formula ⇒6+8−12=2

Hence, Verified.
