Hi ,

********************************************

A set which does not contain any

element is called an empty or

null or a void set .

***********************************************

i ) The set straight lines passing through

a point is a non - empty set

[ We can draw infinitly many lines

passing through a point ]

ii ) Set of odd natural numbers divisible

by 2 is an empty set .

[ Numbers which are divisible by 2

are called even numbers ]

iii ) { x : x € N , x<5 and x>7 }

is an empty set

iv ) { x : x is a common point to any

two parallel lines } is an empty set.

[ Parallel doesn't have a common

point . ]

v ) Set of even prime numbers is not
