State which of the two solution of HCL in water or in toluene is an electrolyte.Explain.​

Explanation:

HCl dissociates into ions in water due to which it conducts electricity and thus a solution of HCl in water is an electrolyte. Toluene on the other hand, doesnot dissociate in to ions in water. So, its aqueous solution is not an electrolyte.
