Democracy is a long struggle of the citizens of the country as they were first ruled by monarchs, in which they had no choice, but after the french revolution the monarchy fell and slowly it begun to convert into a republic but then the dictatorship and colonisation came along the way and the citizens struggled , in the middle of the 19 century the countries began to have a democratic Outlook and soon the situatins changed.
