The first as well as the second statement is true as some years like 2000 , 2010 are decades while all centuries like 2000 ,2010 are decades because both the former and the latter come at an interval of 10 years,each.

century is the 100 years whereas the some years are of 10 years then it is the decade . therefore statement 1 is correct and statement 2 is wrong.
no no no ! u see that every decade will have 0 at the end.Since all centuries (2000,2010 etc.) have 0 in the end, the 2nd statement is also correct
