The correct answer is option C) A is true and B is false

Given: Statement(A): 'Stars in the sky' is not a set.

Statement (B): Identity element in an union set is Ф

To find: If given statements are true

Solution: Set is known as a group or collection of things with common properties or a common rule.

Hence, The statement(A): Stars in the sky is not a set is true because even all stars exhibits same rule but we can not represent them mathematically as the number of stars is infinite.

Identity element: the element which remains as unchanged after any other binary operations

Hence, The statement (B): Identity element in a union set is Ф is false.

Therefore, A is true and B is false.
