Correct option is C. Both Invertor and rectifier

As we know that the static UPS is called also called as the “static”.

Because, throughout its power path, it has no moving parts (although it has auxiliary moving parts, such as cooling fans).

The rectifier inside of the static UPS converts the incoming utility AC current to DC, and the inverter converts DC back to clean sine-wave AC to supply the load.

The DC current interfaces with the “energy storage” medium – most commonly batteries, in which case it charges the batteries and receives power from the batteries when the utility power supply is distorted or fails.

Static UPS require both inverter and rectifier.

Static is considered when it is stationary that is no rotating part,

In static charges, it is in equilibrium.

Some parts of static ups are such as,

The inverter battery and rectifier are static but for cooling purposes fan is used which is dynamic.

The main function of static UPS is to convert AC to DC while storing in battery which is done by the rectifier.

Further at the time of load schedule, converting back DC to AC with the help of the inverter.
