1. Frequency measures. These are statistics that show how often something happens or occurs. It is represented in frequency or percentages

2. Measures of variation. Statistics which measure variance. The are represented in standard deviation, variation, range

3. Measures of position. Statistics which measure the level or positions or ranks. They are represented in percentiles, quartiles

4. Measures of central tendency. These statistics measure how often something occurs. They are represented in mean,mode or median
