HEY MATE!!

ratio basically means the a common form (no matter if you divide or multiply the fraction with the same number)

eg: the ratio of 3:15 and 2:10

can also be reduced to 1:5

[ multiplying each term of 1/5 with 3 and 2]

so coming back to your question

ratio of red to blue

red/ blue

80/220 {2.20m=220cm}

8/22

4/11

so the answer is 4:11

length of red ribbon =80 cm length of blue ribbon.

=2.20 m that is 220 cm

∴ ratio of red ribbon to blue ribbon =8/0 upon 2/20

= 8 upon 22

= 4 upon 11

∴ 4:11
