Symptoms of boron deficiency include leaf midrib cracking, stem corkiness etc. The roots become rough and dwarfed, lessions appear in the pith. It's deficiency also results in the death of the apical plants. It's deficiency causes brown heart in radish and cauliflower, cracked stems of celery etc.
