In a test (+5) marks are given to every correct answer and (-2) marks given to every wrong
answer. Sonam answered all the questions and scored 100 marks. 30 of Sonam's answers were
correct. How many of the questions she attempted were incorrect? Also find the total number
of questions.

Marks awarded for wrong answer = -2

Sonam score = 100

No. of correct answer by Sonam. = 30

Marks for correct answer. = 30 × 5

= 150

Marks for wrong answer. = 150 - 100

= 50

No. of wrong answer. = 50/2

= 25

Total no. of questions. = 30 + 25

= 55

Therefore, Total number of incorrect answers attempted by Sonam are 25.

Therefore, Total number of questions = 55
