Step-by-step explanation:

ABCD is a parallelogram. What is the value of x and y, where A=3x+15, B=2y+5 and C=2x+35?

ABCD is a parallelogram , therefore :-

Angle A = angle C. ………..(1) , and angle A + angle B = 180°. …… …………(2)

.or, 3x+15 = 2x+35.

or, x = 20°.

From eqn. (2).

3x+15 +2y+5 = 180°. , putting x =20°.

or, 60°+15°+5°+2y = 180°.

or, 2y = 180°- 80°.

or, 2y = 100°. => y = 100°/2 = 50°.

Thus , x = 20° , y = 50°. Answer.
