• Greater number be = y

==> x + y = 52 ---------------Equ(1)

Again,

(If we divided the smaller number by greater number ,we get 3/10 .)

==> x/y = 3/10

==> 10x - 3y = 0----------------Equ(2)

Multiply by 3 in equ(1)

==> 3x + 3y = 156 ---------------Equ(3)

Add equ(2) & equ(3)

==> 10x + 3x = 156

==> 13x = 156

==> x = 156/13

==> x = 12

Keep value of " x " in equ(2)

==>10 * 12 - 3y = 0

==> 3y = 120

==> y = 120/3

==> y = 40
