Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) the given window is a combination of a half circle and a rectangle with 3 sides only...

perimeter of the 3 sided rectangle = 4+4+6 = 14 ft

radius of the half circle, r = 6÷ 2 = 3 ft

so the circumference of the half circle = 2πr / 2

= { 2x 22/7 x3 } / 2

= 18.85/ 2

= 9.43 ft

so total permeter of the window = 14+9.43 = 23.43 ft

2) first we need to find the area of the rectangle the we will find the area of the parallelogram. then we will minus the area of the parallelogram from the area of the rectangle..

area of the rectange = length x height = 7x8 = 56 sq. cm

area of the parallelogram = base x height = 6x5 = 30 sq cm

therefore area of the shaded region = 56 - 30 sq cm = 26 sq cm

3) area of the square = 6x6 = 36 cm.

we will take half of 6 as the base of of one triangle . then we will apply pythagorus theorem and find the perpendicular length of the triangle . then we will find the area of one triangle .once we get the area of one triangle then we will multiply it with 2 . since there are two traingle..
