10th :-

Given :-

  • \sf{\implies Fruitseller\: bought \: mangoes = 75\: kg}\\

  • \sf{\implies Rate \: at \: which\: he \: bought = Rs\: 30\: per \: kg} \\

  • \sf{\implies He \: sold\: \frac{1}{3} rd \: part\: of\: mangoes} \\

To find :-

  • \sf{\implies \: At \: what \: rate \: mangoes\: should \:be \:sold\: to \: get\: 10 \: percent\: profit.} \\

Solution :-

→ The Fruit seller purchased 75 kg mangoes = (75×30) rupees

\sf{\implies Cost \: price \: = Rs\: 2250} \\

→ He sold mangoes = \sf{\frac{1\times 75}{3} \:kg} \\

\sf{\implies He \: sold\: 25\: kg } \\

These 25 kg mangoes are sold at the same rate at which the fruit seller had purchased.

→ Amount of 25 kg mangoes = (25×30) rupees

\sf{\implies 750 \: rupees } \\

He wants to gain 10% . So Selling price is Rs 750 +X.......eq 1st

{\boxed{\sf{\implies \: Selling price \: = [ \frac{(100 + gain) }{100}] \times Cost price }}} \\

{\sf{\implies \: Selling price \: = [ \frac{(100 + 10) }{100}] \times 2250 }} \\

\sf{\implies \: Selling price \: = [ \frac{\cancel \!110}{\cancel\!100}] \times \cancel{2250} = 11 \times 225 } \\

{\boxed{\sf{\implies Rs \; 2475}}} \\

Now we have to find out the value of x from eq 1st .

\sf{\implies\:750 +x = 2475 } \\

\sf{\implies\: x = 2475 - 750} \\

\sf{\implies x = Rs \: 1725 } \\

x is the cost of 50 kg fruits because 25 kg fruits were sold for Rs 750 .

Rate of 50 kg fruits = \sf{\frac{1725}{50} = 34.5 \: Rupees } \\

So fruit seller will sell his fruit for 34.5 rupees per kg for gaining 10%.

Given :-

  • S.P of 6 banana is equal to C.P of 5 bananas .

To find :-

  • Gain or loss percentage

Solution :-

{\boxed{\sf{\Formula\: \frac{m-n}{n} \times 100 }}} \\

Here m is C.P and n denotes S.P articles.

{\sf{\implies\: [ \frac{5-6}{6} \times 100] }} \\

{\sf{\implies \: [ \frac{-100}{6} ] }} \\

Negative sign show loss.

{\underline{\underline{\sf{\implies 16.67\: percent \; loss} }}}\\
