An IP (internet protocol) adress is an unique adress which is needed for accessingf the internet. There are two types of IP adress known as the IPv4 and IPv6 adress.

Methods to find your IP adress:

• Web method: We can directly go to chrome browser and type what is my ip adress in the search engine, the results will show your IP adress. This is the most easy/basic way to find your IP adress.

• Using the cmd (command prompt): The second method is as follows:

1. Open run option on your PC by pressing windows+r and nowsearch for cmd.
2. Now open cmd and type the following "ipconfig/all" , this will fetch you detailed analysis of your ip and many more too.

• Using settings: Go to the computer settings and now click on the network and security option. Now click on ethernet if you are connected using wire connections or click on wifi and go to advanced to see your IP adress if you are connected with wireless network.
